NVQ Assessements
For those individuals who are interested in working towards further qualifications
whilst working, we offer several NVQs to Level 2 or 3 in Passenger Transport
Vehicle Driving and Logistics. You can expect:
• A schedule of assessments and other coursework which is logical
and realistic and which takes into account your whole learning programme.
• Assessments which are fair, consistent, appropriate and which
test the objectives of the programme.
• Deadlines which are clear and maintained and detailed in the course
plan.
• Work for assessment to be checked and marked and normally returned
within two weeks of submission unless notified in advance to the contrary.
In some instances this may be longer, in which case you will be informed
by your assessor.
• Samples of work to be internally verified or moderated to ensure
standardisation.
• To receive records of your grades as and when appropriate.
• Qualification certificates to be sent to your contact address
within three weeks of receipt by STT from the organising body.
Our delivery structure is flexible and employer focussed. The NVQ is designed
to be assessed in the workplace under normal workplace conditions. However,
if learners require training before completion of the NVQ, delivery can
either be at employer premises or at our training centre in Southend-on-Sea.
