FREE Driver CPC – National Vocational Training

Every day, 1.3 million people go to work without the skills they need to do their jobs properly. An NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) is a work-related, competence-based qualification which recognises someone’s skills, knowledge and understanding they have in the work place. NVQs are based on national occupational standards and show that the individual has the skills and knowledge needed to do the job effectively.

As a leading Training Provider, Supreme Transport Training has aligned itself with industry leaders and by working in partnership with the Learning & Skills Council, Train to Gain and Ixion Business Link amongst others, our qualified assessors and Internal Verifiers will carry out on-the-job assessments leading to Bus, Coach and Lorry Drivers gaining an NVQ Level 2 in their chosen subject.

By linking the Driver CPC with an NVQ, the additional cost for Driver CPC is virtually zero. FREE to most candidates, completion of an NVQ (equivalent to five GCSE’s at grade A-C) will lead to greatly enhanced opportunities within the transport industry.

How is the Course structured?
The stages are:-
• Induction
• Training (if needed).
• Portfolio building (evidence gathered throughout course)
• Assessment, which comprises of observation (onsite/on job); checking knowledge and understanding through questioning; Product Evidence (natural occurring paperwork on job); Witness testimonies.
• End of test assessment by lead assessor.
