NVQs (PCV)

Passenger Carrying Vehicle Driving (Bus & Coach) NVQ Level 2 (EDI)
Every day, 1.3 million people go to work without the skills they need to do their jobs well. National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) are work-related, competence-based qualifications. They are based on national occupational standards developed by sector skills councils and standard-setting bodies in consultation with employers. As such, NVQs reflect the skills and knowledge required by people working in particular industries. With help from STT, you are now able to invest in the development of your staff giving them the ability, confidence and motivation to deliver real bottom line benefit for both themselves and business alike.

As a leading Training Provider, STT has aligned itself with industry leaders and by working in partnership with the Learning & Skills Council, Train to Gain and the South East Essex College amongst others, our qualified assessors and Internal Verifiers will carry out on-the-job assessments leading to PCV and LGV Drivers gaining an NVQ Level 2 in their chosen subject. When Driver CPC is delivered simultaneously with the NVQ, the additional cost for CPC underpinning is virtually zero. FREE to most candidates, completion of such a course (equivalent to five GCSE’s at grade A-C) will lead to greatly enhanced opportunities within the transport industry.
